Join our membership

A strong and active membership is at the core of our power-building strategy and critical to shaping our destiny as a community. Increasing our people power will ensure that we can collectively make our vision a reality. Let’s create, grow, and build this work together.

We currently have three membership types:

  • Community Membership

  • Resident Membership

  • Board Membership

We welcome any new and continuing members to our meetings where we discuss ongoing projects, share updates on current and future developments, provide capacity building workshops, and more!

Community Membership

If you are local or homegrown residents of Richmond and/or West Contra Costa County, we invite you to become a Resident Member.

As a member you can:

  • Join a community of like-minded activists, advocates, and organizers advancing a democratic model for affordable housing.

  • Attend membership meetings, events, and workshops.

  • Vote on organizational initiatives and board member candidates.

  • Collectively steward the projects in our growing portfolio.

  • Help determine future neighborhood stabilization campaigns.

  • Stay in the loop through regular email updates.

  • Be the first to hear about housing opportunities in our new and existing properties.

  • Guide Richmond LAND on how to use our dues to invest in community projects.

  • Catalyze a revolutionary model of community-led land and housing.

Your financial contribution makes the work possible. Suggested dues payment for 2022 is $2-$22*. Join today!

*Please note that future dues amounts will be set at annual membership meetings by a majority of the membership.
